That is by all means not a summary of my entire trip but IвЂ™m tired and most of you received the play-by-play via Facebook, whether you wanted to or not.ДЈ.) I am a Badass. There was only one picture taken this weekend and it involved bad lighting and margaritas the size of our heads. That chapter will mainly contain tales about margaritas, cheap hotel rooms, tarot cards,В tattoos, whales, and most importantly public restrooms. Some of them are bat-shit crazy, some of them are sick of hearing about Bob Dylan, and some of them have broken my heart, but a select few will be the title of more than one chapter in my book. There is something about that northern air, those tree lines, the endless expanse of iron ore pits, and those people. Mainly because of my Jamsypants but also because of her Mother, the Bottle Shop, SportyвЂ™s biscuits and gravy, RudyвЂ™s, the Hibbing Park Hotel, the view, the view, and the view. It owns a part of me and always requires a visit. The Iron Range has a special place in my heart. I only drove 3 hours to see them, but IвЂ™d gladly hitch-hike across the country without shoes, simply to be in their company. There was sushi, games, wop, too many bars, McDonalds, and way too many laughs. I love them more than words and this night was beyond everything IвЂ™ve ever wanted. You can tell weвЂ™re kindred spirits by the fact that we ALL wore, ALL black. I went to visit some of the greatest people IвЂ™ve ever met and partake in a snowmobiling weekend that never fails to leave me with ZERO recollection (in a good way). I got in the car and headed north 12 hours after landing in the US. Thirty days is NOT enough time to fit a lifetime of friends, but I will do my best to summarizeвЂ¦ I went up to Crane Lake then down to the cities, then back up to Duluth, up again to Crane Lake, down to the cities, down to Iowa, up to Hibbing, and then ended in the cities. It was a whirlwind of car trips, Target runs, whiskey binges, bear-hugging sessions, and giggle fests. Planning for my trip I was a bit worried that I would have too much idle time. Through a complicated web of airline tickets, I went back home for the month of March (and now its May, fail). But, IвЂ™m so ridiculously excited for them and I canвЂ™t wait until IвЂ™mВ uncontrollablyВ sobbing while giving my Maid of Honor speech (which I can assure you will be the prefect combination of touching sentiment, wine, and age-appropriate comedic material).Дў.) I went home to the States for a Month. But Kristen and I are a bit of a package deal so when they told me the news, I welcomed him to the вЂњfamily.вЂќ My only regret is that breaking news like this SUCKS over Skype.
